Did you get the chance to tune in live on 99.9 FM KUPR radio? Guests Imneenawest, Kristen, and Opal joined host Mike for an insightful session about their journey as teens in an all-girls boarding school. From 9 PM to 12 AM MST, the guests shared details about their ongoing project—a collaborative documentary and book highlighting their experiences at The Holy Highway girls’ home, where they were sent in 2011. During the broadcast, we also reached out to other women who had been part of the group home, providing a platform for their voices to be heard.
It was a powerful discussion not to be missed—but if you did, don’t worry. The session was recorded, so stay tuned for the upcoming release of the recording!
“Please know, this book is so that you, I, WE are heard. So others can hear our story. So many have passed away since we all were at THH. So many different things happened before and after your generation. Please, help me tell OUR story. Whether your time was great, or not so great. Your word is important and I want to give you that option to participate.”
